Green business practices include:
- Kitchen grease recycled and reclaimed for bio-diesel
- Compostable to-go containers
- Recycle glass, aluminum, plastic, paper and cardboard
- Use green cleaning supplies
- Compost food waste (Green Scene Member)
- Seattle City Light Green Up Member (Wind Blown Energy)
- Seattle Weekly Green Card Participant (10% Off for Members)
Green building practices include:
- Bar top salvaged from the rafters of the Nucor Steel Plant
- Bar shelves and counters made from windblown fir trees in Snoqualmie (milled locally)
- Salvaged interior doors
- Custom booths constructed with reclaimed wood and recycled polyester fabric (from Greener Lifestyles on Ballard Ave)
- Low VOC paint and natural wood oil finishes
- Motion censors on all toilets, sinks, and bathroom lights
- Timed exterior lights
- Marmoleum floors in upstairs bathroom
